Volunteer with us!

Volunteers with the Muscarelle provide valuable support to our Museum and guests to enhance their understanding and appreciation of art. If you are interested in working with a team of people with similar interests surrounded by fine art and artists, come join us!

Docents

The Docents are dedicated to extending the mission of the Museum as an institution devoted to arts education in the community and throughout the region. Through training and research, docents develop and present tours and other educational initiatives that lead to a better understanding of the permanent collection and special exhibitions.

Volunteers

The Muscarelle is looking for volunteers in a variety of areas. We have volunteer opportunities for roles including Visitor Services Guides and Event & Engagement Guides.

Student Interns

Work directly with all of our professional staff, across departments, making valuable connections in the operations of an art museum and non-profit organization. Minimum 5 hours a week, per semester. Hours can be filled with daily tasks, or special projects, depending on your interests and career goals.
