Volunteers with the Muscarelle provide valuable support to our Museum and guests to enhance their understanding and appreciation of art. If you are interested in working with a team of people with similar interests surrounded by fine art and artists, come join us!

Information Sessions

Interested in volunteering with the Muscarelle?
Sign up for a one-hour volunteer orientation session beginning February 24.

Applicants need not have a background in art history. Successful candidates will have the time and energy to meet the expectations of our volunteer program, a passion for sharing art with diverse audiences, and a desire for engaging with visitors.

All volunteers will be expected to:

  • Attend a training session
  • Abide by museum safety and security protocols
  • Make minimum commitments of time throughout the year
  • Be reliable – arrive on time for your shifts

Volunteer benefits include:
