THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING: AN ART WORLD ODYSSEY

THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING: AN ART WORLD ODYSSEY

Sunday, February 3, 2019
12:00 AM

The Muscarelle Museum of Art is so pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the W&M Global Film Festival’s screening of The Price of Everything: An Art World Odyssey in cooperation with the 1693 Scholars and the William & Mary Department of Art and Art History! This film gives unprecedented access to pivotal artists and the white-hot market surrounding them, and dives deep into the contemporary art world, holding a mirror up to our values and our times – where everything can be bought and sold.

Join us at the Kimball Theatre (428 W Duke of Gloucester Street) for the screening on Saturday, February 2 at 8:00 PM (film run-time 98 mins). Tickets are available here.  This event will be hosted by Richard Lowry, Professor of English and Film and Media Studies and the Director of the film, Nathanial Kahn. There will be a Q&A after the film, so be sure to stay for that!
