Music in the Galleries | An Eastern Mediterranean Musical Mosaic

Established in 1994, under the direction of Professor Anne Rasmussen, the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble welcomes students, faculty, and community musicians. It explores the styles and repertoires of Arab, Turkish, Persian, Armenian, and Greek musical traditions. The group has presented numerous concerts featuring guest artists from a variety of Arab and Middle Eastern music traditions and has concertized in the mid-Atlantic region, and internationally in Morocco and Oman. We are pleased to welcome them back to the Muscarelle.
