Figure Drawing Monday

On select Monday evenings throughout fall 2025, join us at the Muscarelle to hone your observational and drawing skills. Each session will focus on a different aspect of figure drawing, so choose one session or register for them all! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, these workshops will offer a supportive environment to develop your practice in drawing the human form.

Workshops are designed for adults 18+. Participants will draw a live nude model. All skill/experience levels welcome and all materials provided. Led by Professor of Art Nikki Santiago.

Professor Santiago maintains an active studio practice, exhibiting in over 100 exhibitions in the past 15 years. In her works, Santiago depicts semi-autobiographical, domestic scenes that suggest internal, familial narratives, resulting in quiet images, with simple yet layered storylines. And while storytelling is an integral component of Santiago’s work, it remains subservient to the broader formal concerns.
