Figure Drawing Monday
Monday, October 20, 2025
5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Workshop
On select Monday evenings throughout fall 2025, join us at the Muscarelle to hone your observational and drawing skills. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, these workshops will offer a supportive environment to develop your practice in drawing the human form.
Workshops are designed for adults 18+. Participants will draw a live nude model. All skill/experience levels welcome and all materials provided. Led by Professor of Art Brian Kreydatus.
Professor Kreydatus’ paintings, prints and drawings focus on the figure or, on occasion, a space permeated with the figure’s heavy absence. He states, “my work is about grappling with the physicality and vulnerability of the human body and allusions to the varied life experiences and limitations that are inherent in the human condition. In my purely observational works, I want to make the familiar unfamiliar through the intense scrutiny of looking. I want my narrative works to have the heightened intensity of a fever dream”.
