Middle Eastern Music Ensemble Miracle Concert

Join us for the William & Mary’s Middle Eastern Music Ensemble’s Family Weekend Miracle Concert!

The William & Mary Middle Eastern Music Ensemble, established in 1994 by Professor Anne Rasmussen, is a forum for the study and performance of traditional music from the Middle East Region and Arab World. Over the past 30 years the group has collaborated with at least 100 scholars and guest artists from a variety of traditions, and they perform regularly within the William & Mary community, in the mid-Atlantic region, and beyond — including overseas tours to Morocco and Oman. Their Family Weekend Miracle Concert at the Muscarelle Museum of Art features music from Greece, Lebanon, Egypt and beyond on traditional instruments and with plenty of opportunities for the audience to get involved.
