Storybook Hour

On Tuesday mornings, bring your young artist and meet us in the galleries for a read-aloud story hour and activity! Join our events team to read books themed around the galleries, artists, artmaking and museums, then create art inspired by each day’s picture book selection.

This week’s pick is Tar Beach by Faith Ringgold. Following the story, we’ll imagine our own flying dream journey and create it in oil pastel and collage.

Best suited for ages 3-6. No registration is necessary.
