Julia Blair Hunter joined the Muscarelle Museum of Art in May 2022. She brings a wealth of experience in development and arts administration to the Museum. Hunter holds a BA in Architectural History from the University of Virginia. Her previous roles include Director of Development at Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia, where she oversaw all development activities. She also has experience at the Science Museum of Virginia Foundation and the National Gallery of Art. Hunter is excited to be a part of the Muscarelle Museum and have the opportunity to connect students, alumni, parents, friends, and the community to a thriving museum with dynamic exhibitions, collections, and strong programming. Hunter resides in Richmond with her husband and son.
