Martha Wren Briggs Center for The Visual Arts: Reopening Timeline, Fall 2024

Dear Friends,

We are very close to the finish line on construction of the Martha Wren Briggs Center for the Visual Arts! The exterior facades are nearly complete, with landscaping soon to come, and the interior spaces are receiving their final touches. The glass railings on the grand staircase and sky bridges are being installed, and the furniture will arrive in early December. Our expansive new galleries patiently await the art that will soon be on view.

We are thrilled to announce our series of opening events below, which will coincide with the university’s Charter Day celebrations. We can’t wait to welcome you back into the Museum!

Thank you for your support,
