Pre K-12 Educators

We love welcoming school groups to the Muscarelle! Interested in bringing your class to visit?

To book a pre-K-12 group visit, please submit your request at least four weeks in advance of your anticipated field trip date. When the request has been reviewed, you will be contacted by a Muscarelle staff member to complete the reservation.

Join one of our talented docents for a 30-minute tour and learn more about the art on view. Please review our tour offerings below, then indicate your preference on our School Visit Request Form.

Permanent Collection: Learn more about the strength of the Muscarelle’s collection! Explore a broad selection of works from photography and paintings to sculpture and ceramics. Tours vary from docent to docent and are subject to change.Current Special Exhibitions: Take a deep dive into the history and cultural significance of one of the Muscarelle’s special exhibitions. Visit the Exhibitions tab to learn more about what is on view!

Culture and Landscape: Explore the ways in which landscape can impact culture. Students will learn to identify connections across artworks, contextualize art, and consider how different environments and cultural backgrounds may influence art and interpretation.

Incorporate our Permanent Collection into your classroom!
