First Friday: Twilight Twirl

Join us at the Muscarelle for an evening of art, music, movement, and community!

Experience the museum after hours as it comes alive with hands-on artmaking and the joyful energy of music and contra dancing. This month’s First Friday celebrates the many ways art brings people together. Discover a favorite work of art, try a creative activity, enjoy a refreshment in the café, or step onto the dance floor and twirl the night away with old and new friends. Throughout the evening, you’ll find opportunities to share in a spirit of curiosity, creativity, and connection.

The Williamsburg Contra Dance Community will provide live music and dance instruction and welcomes everyone to join in. With non-gendered calling, beginner-friendly instruction, and no partner or previous experience required, contra dancing is a fun, inclusive, and easy way to experience the joy of dancing together.

Bring a friend, bring your family, or come on your own—we look forward to sharing an evening of art, dance, music, and community with you.

Admission is free and open to all. Complimentary parking is available in the Boswell lot directly in front of the museum.
