Storybook Hours

Storybook Hour has moved days! On Friday mornings, bring your young artist and meet us in the galleries for a read-aloud story hour and activity! Join us to read books themed around the galleries, artists, artmaking and museums, then create art inspired by each day’s picture book selection.

This week’s pick is Ablaze with Color: A Story of Painter Alma Thomas by Jeanne Harvey. Following the story, we’ll create landscapes inspired by her work using markers and oil pastels.

Best suited for ages 3-6. No registration is necessary.
