MSLS, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill BA, Rhodes College Laura Fogarty holds a BA in History from Rhodes College and a Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) with a concentration in Archives and Records Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Fogarty currently serves as the visual resources manager, social media manager, and publications specialist at the Museum in addition to her responsibilities in the Collections & Exhibitions department. Fogarty’s previous experience includes serving as the Associate Registrar and Registrar’s Fellow for the Muscarelle Museum of Art, working with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s curatorial department, completing an Archival Fellowship for the Memphis and Shelby County Room of the Benjamin L. Hooks Memphis Public Library, interning at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, and volunteering at the Mariners’ Museum. Fogarty is a member of the Visual Resources Association (VRA), Virginia Association of Museums (VAM), Southeastern Museum Conference (SEMC), and Association of Registrars and Collections Specialists (ARCS).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
