Please wear a mask, observe social distancing requirements, and bring a W&M ID when you visit.
How is Museum programming affected?
The Muscarelle Museum of Art’s in-person programming is cancelled or postponed until further notice. For tours there will be no rescheduling. If you signed up for a paid in-person event, you will receive a refund. The Museum will continue to monitor the situation and will post rescheduled dates for events as we are able.
The Museum is currently offering free online exhibitions, special exhibition preview videos, and a wide range of art instruction available on VIRTUAL MUSCARELLE.
What is the Museum doing in response to COVID-19?
The Muscarelle Museum of Art is taking the following steps to help stop the spread of COVID-19:
- Following the governor’s Executive Order to close (spring and summer 2020) and remaining closed to the general public until further notice
- Cancelling in-person programming until further notice
- Implementing guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our staff
