VIRTUAL MUSCARELLE: RISING

Rising: The American Indian Movement and the Third Space of Sovereignty was originally scheduled to run from April 17 through August 2, 2020. In light of current conditions the Dr. Danielle Moretti-Langholtz and her nine Anthropology and Native Studies students enrolled in the spring 2020 Native American Sovereignty  senior seminar re-imagined the exhibition in an exciting and engaging virtual medium. Announcing the Inaugural Exhibition for VIRTUAL MUSCARELLE

The Muscarelle Museum of Art is proud to present the virtual exhibition “Women with Vision: Masterworks from the Permanent Collection” in recognition of the 100 Years of Women celebration at William & Mary. This panoramic virtual tour allows the user to view works from the Muscarelle collection alongside curatorial research expressly chosen to honor the contribution women have made in the arts.
